Twin Angels / Inju Seisen Twin Angel

Synopsis:
Twin sisters Ai and Mai Amatsu have a secret life. They are the Holy Virgin Warriors, servants of a chaste goddess in the fight against the perverted demons who haunt their school. In this chapter of the Twin saga, demons invade Tokyo looking to ravish school girls and make sacrifices to their demon lord (so what else is new?). Who ya gonna call? Twin Angels! Well it's definitely not Evangelion, but, uh, at least the shrine looks cool.

Review:
Twin Angels is the sequel to "Twin Dolls".

TA has a pretty lame start. Ai and Mai are your typical shy/bold twin combination who live with their grandmother, a few guardians, and "Lord Onomoro" in your typical family shrine. Typically, Onomoro is a bratty child who just loves his "big sisters" and follows them everywhere. You also have the typical cast of characters: powerful old crone, bumbling bodyguard, competent priestess assistant, and our two stars -- young Ai and Mai. Twins who serve the Tin Jin powers, protecting innocence and chastity with a religious fervor. Does it get any better? Indeed it does! It turns out Onomoro is actually a demon prince, who, if his sexual nature is brought out, will turn into your typical raging lunatic. Just about everything in this anime is typical. If Onomoro stays innocent, his power can be used for good. How he came to live with the Amatsu family is a fascinating mystery that is never solved.

The plot consists of the twins giving lots of panty shots and risking their purity time and time again as they pick up their ancestors' sacred weapons. Sounds pretty deep huh? Let's not forget the hermaphrodite who takes control of a classroom (convienently Ai and Mai's). He/she gives a quick lesson in personal stimulation, then promptly gets his impish cretins to steal the ladies for a quick and agonizing visit to the demon land. These imps molest the unconcious, all in the name of preparing sacrifices to the head honcho, whose name escapes me. He needs the ladies' young energy to fuel his conquest of Earth. Enter Ai and Mai, who not only have to protect themselves, but find their friends, and also rescue Lord Onomoro, who conviently gets captured. Fact is, this entire show runs on things which happen rather convienently, and nothing is very original.

The art's not too bad though, and the twins are rather pretty. The designs for the monsters are generic, but that's nothing unusual. If you do plan to watch TA, be sure to avoid the dubbed version. It's not worth the pain. There is nothing about TA that can make it stand out from other hentai titles, but you may want to give it a try if only to see bizarre sex scenes involving cherry blossoms and sticks.

Miscellanies:
You better believe this is dumb.
